I use a full spectrum modified Canon EOS R Mirrorless. The excellent low light performance of the mirrorless range coupled with the full spectrum conversion gives this camera the ultimate versatility. It enables me to photograph either in daytime, night or infrared all with one camera.

This is usually coupled with the Kolari EF-EOS R Drop-In Filter Mount Adapter. A clever design which not only enables the EOS R to use standard Canon EF mount lenses but also has a filter slot making all filters useable with all lenses.

By using the wide range of Kolari filters available for the adapter this allows me the versatility to use the same camera, filters and lenses for any situation, daytime, evening, astrophotography or infrared.

I use four lenses by Sigma. The 24-105mm F4.0 DG HSM is my standard daytime lens as I find the focal range extremely versatile.

The Sigma 14-24mm F2.8 DG HSM is an excellent landscape lens especially for astrophotography thanks to the wide aperture and wide angle.

The Sigma 24mm F1.4 DG HSM is an excellent astrophotography lens. I find 24mm is a great focal length for framing the Milky Way behind a more distant subject.

The Sigma 150-600mm F5.0-6.3 DG HSM is a hyper-telephoto lens that features a lightweight and compact design making it possible to carry as part of every trip and increasing my range of capabilities.
